Your tour guide will walk you through the streets of Salem, where you will learn about what Real Witches Do and Don’t Do, while focusing on Modern Day Witchcraft as well as respecting the Victims of the 1692 Witch Trails with a Blessing!

Spacer czarownic z Salem

The Salem Witch Walk

At the start of the tour we will be casting a Witches Magic Circle to show what real Witches do and raise energy for a blessing. We will then embark on a walk through historic Salem Massachusetts. We will stop at Salem's Old Burying Point Cemetery where we will be preform a blessing for the wrongly accused. We then make several stops in the City to discuss the real Witches of Salem and their practices. We will cover the Witches Sabbats (holidays), and Esbats (full moon rituals), the core principles of the beliefs and practices of the Salem Witch. All of those who take the tour will be given a discount to at Crow Haven Corner, which is the Oldest Witch Shop in North America.

Going on the Salem Witch Walk Tour offered by Crow Haven Corner was something I hadn't planned on doing during my short visit to Salem. Being a Witch, taking a tour of a history known to myself was something I didn't care to hear about as I thought this is just another tour, with a syrupy tourist trap story. Well, Crow Haven Corners' tour caught my ear. Hmm, an opportunity to experience a witches' circle...a bit of history from a true Witch's knowledge and experience. Okay, why not...I may learn something new. And since this is a walking tour, be sure to wear some supportive walking shoes...by the end of the tour, my buddy had to hobble along with aching feet. When we began the tour, we were taken into a small alley way that lead into a backyard area...I noticed a round table with tambourine like instruments(I know what they are), candles, a cauldron, and a dish with stones sitting upon it...an altar maybe?...Yep. Lady Ginger is her name. She is very personable and has spunky energy and a sharp wit that one wouldn't suspect her of Witchcraft or for stirring up a Toil and Boil, Eye of Newt recipe...definitely not your typical idea of a Witch. She spoke with such knowledge and reverence of the Historical Witchcraft era in1692. After a round of introductions, we were told a bit of history of witchcraft and magick and then we got to experience a Witches' ritual. What a great experience for any person curious to witness a witch's circle. Lady Ginger is very knowledgeable of her craft and gave an informative and authentically detailed tour of the modern day witches history and of the history of the Salem witches of 1692. I highly recommend this tour for any curious tourist wanting to see and experience how witches perform ritual and how they work with the cycles of life.

We did the 7pm tour with Tom as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and humorous, and was able to impart a lot of great information about Wicca and the history of Salem. As decedents of 2 women hanged during the witch hysteria, we really appreciated the respectful tone and dignity of this tour. This was the perfect companion to the Museum for a fairly well-rounded understanding of this place.
