This was my second visit to this museum- the first was 8 years ago with friends. This time I took my mom. Even though I’d been before, it was still very interesting and engaging. Previously, photos weren’t allowed, but now photos are allowed after the first floor. We used the audio guide and it was good. Currently, there is a focus on the Jewish people of the Titanic, which was really interesting. At one point, I asked a staff member to take a photo of me and my mom, and she said they weren’t allowed. Weird but okay. I’m a souvenir queen but I did find some of the souvenirs to be a little tacky given that so many people died in this event. Also, even though we had timed tickets, we still had to wait in line to get in, and there were some places throughout the museum that were packed. We went on a Saturday afternoon. I’ve also been to the Titanic museum in Belfast, and I think the Pigeon Forge one is more engaging. All in all, a good experience and I’d recommend going.
