Trolley Tour in Historic Jim Thorpe

Our historic trolley tour goes from the visitor center at 2 Susquehanna St. through the Jim Thorpe Memorial, the Lehigh Gorge State Park, up Broadway past all the shops, restaurants, and museums to the Mauch Chunk Lake and drop off back at the visitor center. This 70 minute tour is a great way to see most of the town of Jim Thorpe, some of our beautiful natural scenery, great things to do while in town, and our historic buildings along Broadway! Our tour is a live narration with some of the interesting history of the town as well as our name sake.

The music and the drivers humor !! So funny and told very interesting stories about Jim Thorpe Wash!! View was beautiful!! Loved how the people I interact single along and clapping

We really enjoyed the trolley tour. The tour guide who also drove the trolley was amazing, being both knowledgeable and entertaining! Highly recommend!

It was a great tour, the trolly was clean and comfortable. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He pointed out many other things to do in the area as well as restaurant recommendations. On the way back he dropped us off at the Jail so we could take that tour which saved us a walk back up the hill. It's a great way to get the lay of the land so you know where everything is. We loved the tour and will probably do it again next time we go to Mauch Chunk.
