The turquoise collections were beautiful but the experience was soured completely by the owner who was a complete jerk. He argued with guests and said he would just throw them out if his rules weren't followed. Treated everyone like two year olds going to the principal's office at the beginning so no one would touch his antiques or he would throw them out. So pathetic. Will be praying for him.

We are definitely not for everyone. People who cannot follow simple instructions and policies usually have a bad experience.

What an interesting museum! We highly recommend to take the time to visit it. It has such a large display of turquoises from all over the world. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable!

This museum is structured for appointed time, no exceptions to getting in if late. The explanation was to give visitors a chance to self guide after seeing intro video and not be distracted by other visitors crowding for views. Appreciated the explanation. The museum is a labor of love to educate the public about turquoise. Gem quality vs other type of turquoise many people buy from numerous vendors. The best info is to know where the turquoise comes from authentically certified or verified from reputable dealer when buying gem quality for certain and other type turquoise also! The mansion museum is stunning. Looks more like a movie set. Very well organized. There are seats along the way to rest while you’re viewing. Overall this is a worthwhile stop in a city that has limited educational options.
