Turquoise History was pretty good. Most of the framed information was very small, but available.
By the time we got to the final room, viewing of turquoise was too much.
Conciliation, the exotic house built between the one-ways, built only a few years back, was viewable. The furnishing were antique pieces along with chandeliers that were everywhere. Sad that all of the window coverings were closed.
With the fee that we paid, amount of visitors (three others while we were there), three house guards, one parking guard, two cashiers, this museum will not succeed.

Thank you so much for visiting The Turquoise Castle, our new location after 26 successful years in Albuquerque. We are glad that you enjoyed the turquoise collection that has taken 5 generations to curate. As you pointed out, we display a lot of turquoise, I hope you noticed that each gallery is used to teach a different subject related to turquoise; and that the items displayed in each room are there to help illustrate that subject. We pride ourselves on not being a museum that just displays interesting things to look at, but uses those items to teach a subject in completeness. Thanks for visiting we hope to see you again in the future.

Turquoise Museum Executive Director
