This horse tour was an absolute joy! Shaun is a native of Lexington and grew up in and around the business so he has a tremendous amount of knowledge to share. If you don't know anything about horses, or horse racing, you will by the end of the tour. My friend and I got super spoiled by being the only two people on the tour! It was worth every single penny and I'd do it again just to see it all again and hear some more stories from Shaun.

Sean with Bluegrass Horse Farm tours did an EXCELLENT job taking us on a behind the scenes tour of legendary Kentucky horse farms. We started at Hills 'n' Dale where Seattle Slew is buried and Curlin currently resides. Next was a hands on visit to Four Winds, a retired/rescued horse farm, where we got up close and personal with retired police horses, Budweiser Clydesdales and many rescue horses. Finally we stopped by KatieRich farms, an active thoroughbred breading farm, where we fed peppermint to the granddaughters of Seatle Slew, War Admiral, Affirmed who were still nursing their few month old foals. At the yearling barn we "held" a million dollars in our hands as we patted noses of the offspring of Triple Crown winners going to auction this fall. All throughout Sean wove tales of his first hand experiences with horse racing royalty and educated us on the history of the breeders. We recommend this AMAZING adventure to all.

We truly loved our tour, which included private access to 3 different horse farms. Shaun was exceptional and a perfect guide. His passion, experience and stories really added to the experience.
