The Lexington area is so beautiful to drive around, but Shawn brings it to the next level. His tour opens gates to world renown horse farms and gives you the opportunity to see future stars nursing at their mothers side, all the way to retired stallions whose names you all know. And as if that wasn't enough, his humor, and knowledge of the area's colorful history capped off an incredible experience. Thanks Shawn. P.S. before the Breeders Cup at Keeneland 2015, NBC showed a small clip of Shawn giving a tour at Winstar Farm Stallion Division, (glad I saw it!)

While in town for Family Weekend at UK, we decided to take the Unique Horse Farm Tours. It was the best part of our weekend! Shaun was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of all the horse farms in the area and had many, many great stories to tell. It was apparent that he also has a love for horses. We visited a few farms in the area and got a personal tour of some of their facilities. This tour is definitely one that we will take again as there are many horse farms in the area and no two tours seem to be alike. We can't wait to visit again and bring more family members with us!

A tour is only as good as its tour guide as most people know. With that being said Shaun was amazing with a great knowledge of the local horse farms and horses. During the trip Shaun's stories were entertaining and most of all very funny, so the comedy was great, I would highly recommend this tour based on the fact that Shaun does an excellent job and gets you right up close with the horses and the interesting people at the farms that you will encounter on this tour. The farms were beautiful as were the horses and to see behind the scenes of the busy horse world of was an amazing experience that we will never forget.
