John McP-All I can say is this man is the coolest Rat there. All the people who work there are amazing, but he was our river guide, and he made the trip extra special. My son has been bragging to anyone who will listen about the trip and how John told him he has a Job when he turns 18. My son even stopped after and made sure to give him a hug. My teen daughter was smiling the entire time! We will be back to this place because it was worth every penny you spend. It was exciting, it was fun, it was the best time we had. If you are on the edge on if you should book it or not-BOOK IT! Promise you won't regret it.

Bryce was a great guide. The river was just enough thrill and calm combined. My family and I loved it. Bummed we didn't get great pictures where we could all be seen maybe better direction on where abd when to look. We felt safe abd liked the large clean facilities.

Kevin was our guide through the Upper Pigeon River. He was simply AMAZING! We had 2 adults, a 12yo and a 9 yo. The kids were apprehensive about Grade 3 and 4 rapids, but under Kevin’s guidance we not only successfully and fearlessly made it through the rapids, but BOTH kiddos rated this their favorite experience of our week long stay in TN. Kevin seamlessly kept our kiddos engaged, and gave them feedback to boost their confidence. We WILL use River Rat again!! We have rafted the Lower Pigeon before when the kids were younger, but used a different guide group. River Rat is hands down the absolute best! Facilities are nice and clean, everything is well organized and there are multiple food trucks available before and after your rafting experience. We WILL definitely use RR again for our family rafting adventures! Ask for Kevin!!! He is fabulous!!
