Uptown Eats! Trolley Tour with Food Tours of America

Przegląd
The Uptown Eats! Trolley Tour with Food Tours of America is a foodie lovers favorite with over ten different food tastings in three sit down restaurants, including a sweet dessert treat. Opt-into signature alcohol pairings, mocktails, or an Osadia Tequila flight experience from Texas’ best. In between tastings, we’ll visit the McKinney Avenue Trolley “Car Barn” for a VIP behind the scenes tour where Dallas’ original trolleys are restored and maintained. We’ll take insta-worthy photos, meet a trolley conductor, then hop on a vintage trolley for a ride to the West Village Shopping District! This is our original tour, established in 2012, and every tour supports our local trolleys with a donation.

Tour was great! Allie was very enthusiastic and made excellent suggestions for non-tour dining. Food was fantastic. The brunch items at The Rustic were delicious, as was the chicken shawarma at Baboush. Skirt steak tacos at TNT Tacos N Tequila were delish, as was burger at Eureka.

I highly recommend anyone visiting the Dallas area to book a food tour with Food Tours of America. I can definitely see why they receive a 5 star rating, they are amazing. The restaurants are fantastic and the stop in Klyde Warren park is a great detour. I hope to go on more Dallas food tours soon.

I ended up with a free day on a recent trip to Dallas, so I booked the Uptown Food Tour. It ended up being a small group which was nice because it gave us a chance to talk and get to know each other. We started at a Mediterranean restaurant with great service and yummy food. We stopped at a total of four restaurants, but were shown many others throughout the tour. It gave me so many ideas for future meal stops! The tour included a trolley ride to our last two destinations. Our guide, Jim, was interesting and knowledgeable - I learned a lot of information about Dallas, in general. He had an microphone to use but our group was small enough that he only needed to use it on the trolley. I would definitely recommend this if you like to eat. the servings were very generous. I booked the package that included two drinks, and that was perfect. We actually had three included because the first restaurant gave us a free holiday drink.
