Two girlfriends and I went on the Malibu Wine Hike for a birthday outing. Sadly, the weather wasn't agreeable -- we were all fogged in! So we didn't get to see many views. But we had a blast anyway! Our guide MADDIE was awesome. So friendly and knowledgable. Our favorite parts of the hike were the Chumash Native American cave paintings (so cool) and getting to greet lamas! And, of course, the WINE! Definitely wear sneakers or hiking shoes. A great outing for out-of-town guests.

We booked this as part of a birthday celebration weekend. This was such an incredible experience. When I first booked I thought it would be a simple wine tasting and just going around the vineyards.. Our guide Kurt made it so much more. The experience was out of this world, Kurt is funny as hell - just a great soul. He made this experience totally memorable. The VW bus is quirky and authentic at the same time :) the sound track to day just swept us away. The farm is full of interesting sites, which you want to experience (wont give them away here).. Oh BTW, the wine is pretty good too !!! THIS IS A MUST DO !!! be sure to ask for Kurt :)
