Our hike was just right! 2 miles, beautiful views, animal sightings along the way, and a great tour guide!!! Also the private shuttle to the wine tasting with a reserved table waiting was clutch. Thank you for a fabulous day!!

A group of my friends and I decided to try something new. We checked out Malibu Wine Hikes and were pleasantly surprised by all of its offerings. The experience lasted about 2 hours (plus all the extra time while Kurt was very patient with my group who wanted to take a lot of photos). Kurt was very knowledgeable with the grounds and animals we visited. It was an amazing experience to be up close and personal with Stanley the giraffe. Overall, we had an amazing time hiking and connecting with nature. As an added bonus our night ended with some wine tasting (bring your own snacks). What else could you ask for? I recommend this experience to anyone who likes to have a fun time with their group of friends. Kurt: We hope the next animal at Malibu Wines is named after you, you're hilarious!!

Several friends and I recently did the Open Giraffe Hike and we had a BLAST! Our guide Kurt was phenomenal...he’s super fun, super knowledgeable and takes great photos (don’t forget to bring a camera). Not only did we get to see beautiful views and get a bit of exercise out in the fresh air...but for me, the highlight was getting to pet and feed many of the exotic animals that live on the property...especially Stanley the giraffe! They also have zebras, camels, alpacas, llamas, water buffalo, etc. At the end of the hike (it’s mostly walking on flat ground...just a couple of moderate hills), they shuttle you to an awesome outdoor wine garden to kick back under the trees and listen to live music while sampling a variety of their wines. It was a most perfect day. I’ve lived in LA my entire life and never knew this place existed in Malibu...it’s a MUST DO!
