I would definitely recommend taking the hike with Kurt. He was very knowledgeable of the winery as we hiked and was happy to share information and answer any questions. He also made special effort to give us a great experience by allowing us to see/feed many animals! Truly a unique experience that ended in a tasting of five great wines. Well worth the 30 dollars.

Amazing experience and incredible way to see all of what Malibu Wines & Saddlerock Ranch has to offer. We went for my roommates birthday with a close group of friends and I didn't know what to expect out of this, but the hike exceeding any of my expectations. Our amazing guide, Mika, grew up on the ranch so it was a unique first hand look at the ranch and it's all of it's history. You of course get a unique access and look at the ranch and get one-on-one interactions with the animals including Kendrick Llama (best name ever) and the zebras. We even got to hang out with the family dogs at our groups request. The wine tasting to follow was of course wonderful. We had our own reserved tasting and the pours were very generous. Shane, a member of the Selmer family and who started the hikes recently, was also an amazing host and continued to check up on us throughout the day to make sure our experience was a good one. Overall it was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a different way to experience Malibu Wines. We all walked away from the day feeling like a friend of the Selmer family.

Amazing hike on an 1,100 acre wine estate with rolling hills, llamas, zebras, water buffaloes, and a giraffe named Stanley. Incredible day!!!! And then add the wine tasting...a perfect day!!!
