Enjoy the Boston's history, vibrant atmosphere and wonderful architecture on this 2-hr Guided Walking Tour of the Downtown Freedom Trail between Faneuil Hall and Boston Common and then travel on to Copley Square in Back Bay via Beacon Hill. The Downtown Boston portion of the popular Freedom Trail features many of the locations of historical significance to the United States including the Old State House, Old Granary Burial Ground, and the site of the Boston Massacre. We will then see where the Boston aristocracy lives on Beacon Hill on our way to the Boston Public Garden and see the Victorian brownstones in historic Back Bay. See the famous Cheers restaurant, Newbury Street and Commonwealth Avenue on our way to the Boston Marathon Finish Line. Other top highlights include: Old & New State Houses, Boston Massacre Site, Old & New City Halls, Old South Meeting House, King's Chapel, Park Street Church, Beacon Hill, Boston Public Garden, Swan Boats, Boston Public Library, Trinity Church.

This was a nice tour of Boston, our guide, Andrew, was great. Quite an idiosyncratic individual, but very passionate about Boston and its history and people, no dry tour this. The first half covers the freedom trail which is the “historical” section, the second part cover some of the more picturesque residential parts of the city which was pleasant but less informative, but overall a great couple of hours. Tour overran by half an hour due to a break in the middle to break for those who were doing one half or the other of the tour hence one star off.

I would request that we would get more in-depth historical information. Some interesting historical stories that went along with the basics make a tour more interesting and informative.

It was a rainy day in Boston that day, but the walking tour was so worth it!!! The guide was excellent, and I'm so glad my son and I could attend. We learned so much about the history of Boston, it was A++++!!
