Guests will walk through the slot canyon known as Waterhole Canyon. Located just 5 miles south of Page, AZ on the Navajo Nation is a beautiful slot canyon waiting to be discovered, WITHOUT the large crowds. Guest will be accompanied with a tour guide as the mesmerizing beauty of the 2-mile canyon leaves a life-long memory. WCE tries their best to keep their guest to tour guide to a 14:1 ratio for each tour time. Guests are shuttled from our office location to the canyon entrance site to begin the slot canyon tour. Once you are done taking your Instagram photos and dealing with the crowds at the Upper Antelope Canyon, take this tour. We are so glad we took this tour. It was smaller and more intimate where we actually got to learn about the canyon and Navajo Nation. Our guide Shane was super knowledgeable and welcoming. He explained so many things to us, shared his culture, and explained the importance of the Waterhole Canyon. It was an easy 2 mile walk and got to see more way more than the Upper Antelope Canyon. This was our favorite tour that we took.

What an experience! A 2 mile hike that went way too fast. This tour guided you through 3 slot canyons and it did not disappoint. The middle canyon being the closest to Lower Antelope canyon with the lighting was a must see. I was fortunate to get a private tour probably because of the weather since it is chilly in January. Shane was incredible, when he played his flute I literally felt the history in the canyon. I am not a photographer and he made sure to help with camera settings and take awesome photos that I will be printing! I can’t wait to recommend this tour to people I meet. Thank you so much!

Garrett was our tour guide and we all had a great time, the canyons are beautiful. We are a family with teenagers and travel to Flagstaff every few years. This was our first time touring a slot canyon and it was definitely worth it. Our kids have all said it was one of their favorite Flagstaff vacation memories. If you have mobility issues with stairs/ladders, I'd take a pass on this one.
