The tour meets at Market Square Park across the street from the main entrance of the market at the NW corner of W. 25 and Lorain Avenue. The food we tasted was very good and the experience was great. Especially after we finally found our guide! The directions to meet the guide were not accurate. It would have been nice to have tasted a lot more food for what we paid for though.

I would highly recommend a visit to the The West Side Market while in Cleveland. Foodies of all sizes will be awed by the vast array of great choices from fresh coffee to incredible cuts of meat. The deserts are awesome with more creme filling in the creme puffs than you could imagine!!!!!! Plenty of finger food for walking around!!! Give it a try you will not be disappointed!! In addition the building itself is a classic European Architecture with excellent tile work from long lost artisans.. don’t miss!

Don't waste your money. A guide tells you a few things about the building which you can look up online. She walked our group around the market and stopped at 8-10 places for samples which you can do on your own. She would also walk us by places and rave about the items available and then say "you aren't getting any of these". Really crazy. Spent $50-ish per person to sample olive oil, juice, yogurt, a chocolate dipped pretzel, beef jerky, a pizza bite, olives, dried fruit, and maybe two other things. Our tour was at lunch time. I thought I would leave full. I didn't realize the ridiculous food we would get. We could have just walked the market on our own and left with a lot of food if we had used the money spent on the tour to buy the food that interested us instead of on a chocolate dipped pretzel.
