Booked a 2 hour dolphin cruise for a Sunday morning and after reaching the ticket window came to know that they have cancelled the trip due to low turn out of passengers. This was a shock because we called them the previous day to confirm if the trip is still on schedule. However the attendant at the ticket booth gave us an option to try the 3 hour tour at 1 pm without charging the extra amount. Glad we chose to wait as we got to see a beautiful whale and so many dolphins. Within an hour of starting the trip, captain got a word of a sighting in the area and went right there. Enjoyed watching a whale baby for the next 30 minutes. Captain made sure we had a good time watching it even if it meant surpassing the 3 hour window. While returning, lot of dolphins swam along the boat and it was fun for the kids. Must try if you are visiting Cape May and groupon is highly recommended for budget conscious travellers

We were hoping to see some whales, just saw some great Dolphins, 3 hours as someone else says, is to long. Bring insect repellent, more flies then a garbage truck. Captain had alot of information. Boat was late leaving. Get the $5 per person coupon in one of the books at information Center. Captains son does a great 2 hours Dolphin cruise

The Captain/owner is very dedicated to giving his guests the best experience. We saw lots of dolphins early in the trip. Just before it was time to return to the pier, we spotted a Humpback whale. The captain went in the direction of the spotted spout. We watched the whale for at least 30 minutes, so the trip went well beyond the scheduled time. I appreciate the fact that showing his guests a good time was more important to the captain than sticking to a schedule.
