Don't go with these scammers....honestly its a rip off...i went whale watching in cape code and we were into ocean for almost 1 hr 15 mins and then we got site of whales...BUT in CAPE MAY you will be taken into ocean only for 30-45 mins to find some whales but you will never find one, you can always still see beach and surfers...so this tells you... even the operators know there are no whales in CAPE MAY but they just put name dolphin and whale watching and take 40 $ for the trip. the trip in CAPE COD is only 35 $ and we watched whales almost 30 mins. To me to see dolphin i can go to some water parks with some shows are to aquarium, kids may also get chance to touch them. BUT to see bunch of dolphins away from boat i don't think you have to spend 40$...rippers...and there is no money back or free trip promise if you don't get to see any. Name says Dolphin AND whales watching...but end of the trip if you didn't get chance to see whales...the crew guy announces...this is 100% guaranteed ocean mammal watching and you saw dolphins....! Any way there is a lot tell about these smart rippers...becareful...GUYS with kids and family....!

This was an absolutely awesome time! The waves were very uncalming when we left the Cape May Canal and entered the Ocean, but I had my Dramamine. The history and knowledge of the staff was very superior. We took the 3 hour tour also, and I dont think it gets much better for the price! (we had a 50% off coupon from Groupon) As the previous reviewers have stated, it takes you around Cape May and explains the history, then out into the Delaware Bay. Dolphins were many, but no whales for us either, but that didn't make a difference to us. Getting out on the water and enjoying ourselves was our #1 priority, and thats we did. Definitely plan on doing this again next time.

No whales but there were dolphins. It was a long trip, we were 17 miles from the shore, but did not spot a single whale. There were lots of dolphins. You have to lower your expectation if you want to see a whale. I don't think New Jersey is a place to see whales. If you really want to see whales, take a cruise to Alaska. Be sure to have a lot of patience when you go on this tour. Bringing small kids (5 years and below) on a hot day with a 106 degree weather is not a good idea. If people in this review saw some whales, I wish they could attach some photos.
