I found out first hand why it is called whale watching and not whale seeing! Although they will let you come back for free. Unfortunately, we were at the end of our trip so werent able to take advantage of this. Our original booking was canceled due to lack of people so we were discouraged by this as well. They did put us on a dinner cruise that we did do the same day as our original whale watch; so that was nice. We rebooked the first available whale watch as this was something we really wanted. I know nothing is guaranteed, but this was like "top of my list" so of course I was disappointed.

After two on the day tour cancellations from Pink Sails and Island Magic Catamaran Inc, I last minute booked the whale watching 2.5 hour tour with Atlantis Cruises. The crew were extremely knowledgeable, and despite poor weather conditions, we still managed to locate two different pods of humpback whales. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I couldn’t recommend this tour company enough. They were far better than any other tour company I interacted with. We were even lucky enough to see a whale breach!
