Had a great time getting out on the water. Saw a gray whale and a bunch of dolphins (including patches). Our Captain and crew were very knowledgeable and friendly. The price for a two hour cruise is more than reasonable. I rather enjoyed just the ride alone, but the sea life was a plus! I know the whole point of going out is to see whales but as others have said you can’t predict nature and I would have been just as happy if we didn’t luck out. Thank you for the great experience!

Loved our whale watching excursion. I have been visiting the Dana Point Wharf for 30 years. My dad owned a gift shop right across from the sportfishing shop. This was the first time my sister and I ever took this tour. It was fun. We saw 3 whales and hundreds of dolphins. It was very exciting. There was a concession area on the catamaran serving soft drinks, beer, wine, coffee, hot chocolate and snacks.

We had a great day on the boat. The catamaran was clean and comfortable. Saw a lot of beautiful sea life, whales, dolphins, sea lions. The naturalist was super friendly and informative. We’re already planning on going again!
