My husband and I joined a Monday at noon whale watching tour. We were lucky to be with a small group of 5 plus our two awesome captains Sammi and Freddy! We had the AMAZING experience of getting close and personal with one whale in particular. This whale swam back and forth playfully between us and another raft boat for about an hour, modeling all of his beauty for plenty of photo and video opportunity. Our captain Sammi was able to capture close up under water video which she emailed to us after the tour. Thanks, Sammi! Our tour was incredibly memorable and we've not stopped talking about it and sharing footage with our friends and family. Sign up with Magic Merman! You will be impressed!

We had the best trip ever with the magic mermen. Everything about this adventure was fantastic. We saw so many whales, terrific snorkeling and a great lunch. Bryan, Eric, Austin and Freddy made this the best snorkeling trip ever. We have been on quite a few excursions like this one but never a better one. We would highly recommend The Magic Mermen to everyone.

We did a private charter for us, our kids and our wedding party. First off, promptness. Not only were they early but we were greeted by the owner, Austin, on shore before the boat arrived. Second, the crew. Professional, fun, friendly, informative and safe. We had a genuinely fun time with Captain Sam and Lauren. These two ladies really love what they do, and they are good at it. The knowledge shared about the whales, the area and the history of the area was stunning. Third, the experience. WOW WOW WOW. I would leave it at that...but I cannot. We came upon a group of three whales and stopped the engines. The curious whales came over to us and checked us out. One swam under the boat just feet below the surface. I have a couple of spectacular videos but no stills to share. My son placed his GoPro below the surface on a selfie stick and actually captured the whale on film! In addition to this once of a lifetime event we were treated to other sightings later in the adventure. We saw a behemoth whale breach, tail exposures (fluking) and tons of blows. Next up, the boat. New, clean, safe, and small. Not tiny... smaller than the oversized, overcrowded catamarans. It handled the ocean without issue but was intimate with our small entourage. It was perfect. Close the the water, maneuverable and quiet. Finally, price. What a great deal! It was an affordable private charter and worth every penny. 10 stars. 14 thumbs up and 13 smiles (11 passengers and 2 crew).
