Our family had a fabulous time! From our oldest grandparent to our youngest 4 year old girl. We went with the intention of celebrating my husband's 40th birthday but we all received lasting gifts! The two Sarahs were a wealth of knowledge. We did not expect to have expert scientists- thank you! They also enteracted very well with all of the children. Our 7 year old girl was delighted when they read her whale research book and answered her questions. Thank you Sarah, Sarah and Mike for a wonderful and beautiful experience!

The guides were both friendly and very knowledgeable. We had glorious weather and were lucky enough to see orcas, a humpback whale, harbour seals, harbour porpoises and a bald eagle. All in all, an excellent trip!

We booked the adventure tour which meant we took the high speed boat that was able to get us to several different areas quickly. On our afternoon, we saw several Orca whales, both male and female. Though the boat is very careful to follow the rules and not approach the within a certain distance of the Orcas, at least one turned in our direction while we were stopped and we were able to see it up close. It had the tall and erect dorsal fin that the males have. Though it was short sleeve weather on land, the company provided us with pants and jackets to be worn over our clothing as it gets quit cold out on the water in the sound.
