This was the most professionally operated and amazing wildlife watching activity I have ever experienced. As a part-time resident of San Juan Island, I have been on many whale watching/wildlife sighting excursions. In my experience, this company shines above others -- from the reservation desk to the biologists, captain, and other staff, everyone is on point, efficient, and friendly. It didn't hurt that we encountered Minke, Humpback, and Orca whales, as well as sea lions, bald eagles, seals, Dall's porpoises and other wildlife, but even without the breathtaking sightings, the staff went above and beyond to ensure the safety and comfort of all aboard. They provided informed and interesting information about local habitat and geography, and were very alert to our surroundings, recognizing potential and actual sightings and ensuring that all aboard were able to enjoy them. This is a stellar operation! Go and enjoy!

We had an amazing whale watching trip with San Juan Safaris. We saw tons of orcas and a humpback whale. But what really made the trip so great was the naturalist, Sarah C. She knew everything about the whales, gave us tons of information, and was ready to answer every question she was asked. A great trip!
