A great experience with a very knowledgeable guide. We saw more whales than we could count by the end of the tour. During the trip the guide dropped a hydrophone into the water and we could hear the whales communicating. At one point a whale crossed under our boat! Even better is the fact that the tour is operated by a group committed to researching and preserving the Pacific whale population. All profits go to finance their mission. Next time in Maui, we're booking them again. We went on the small group tour which afforded us an opportunity to see everything going on around us.

Even though it was towards the end of the whale season, we did see a few whales on our trip. The captain and on-board naturalists did a great job spotting and providing a lot of information about the whale behavior that we saw. Boat was clean and there was plenty of room to walk around.

We took advantage of their “just a fluke” program and it turned out amazingly well! Many whales, with different behaviors, all explained clearly and engagingly by the naturalist. Great tour and great organization!
