Our cocktail tour! From the mill to the still, whiskey has been a cornerstone in Pittsburgh's history. Come downtown for our whiskey tour where you will discover how whiskey has fueled political, labor and social movements throughout the region. Begin and end your tour in style with a Prohibition cocktail at the Ritual House and an Old Fashioned at the Rebel Room. As we walk the streets of Downtown, along iconic architecture, you'll learn about the violent Whiskey Rebellion in Pittsburgh, hidden former (as well as existing!) speakeasies around the city, and how Prohibition affected the region.

**Please note: This is NOT a bar crawl but a whiskey history tour that includes two handcrafted cocktails. This event is 21+ only, no minors please.

We had the chance to complete this tour after doing the Best of the Burgh Walking Tour the day before, and it was worth it. It helped to connect other facts that were discussed in the previous tour with other buildings, key individuals of Pittsburgh, and alcohol prohibition act. Even though there were a few places closed during the tour, we were more than grateful to Corrie and Val for still having this tour available during this pandemic and adapt it to guests' interests. Most importantly, we enjoyed having those four or five ounces of whiskey at the end of the tour and still enjoyed the experience no matter what was going on in this world. I would definitely recommend this tour company and will consider other tours as well that are listed in their site for future visits to Pittsburgh.
