The Loxahatchee River tour starts out narrow and twisty as it meanders its along its way downstream from Riverbend Park toward the Atlantic Ocean. The round-trip tour lasts approximately 2 hours from Riverbend Park down the river, depending on water and weather conditions. You’ll pass through an incredible cypress swamp, some sandy areas and thousands of species of plants and animals. The tour will often be under the shade of a beautiful canopy of cypress trees. Currents and water levels vary with the seasons. Portage may be necessary. Please review conditions and specific tour details with staff.

Rob was really knowledgeable on the local flora & fauna. We saw two large alligators & all sorts of beautiful birds & turtles. The guided tour was a good choice; some of the waterways were hard to navigate & there’s a dam to cross.

We have done other kayak tours but this was our first kayak river tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area. The river was very high, which made it difficult to see any wildlife along the riverbank. We did see numerous birds, turtles and some baby alligators. Our guide made sure we were safely able to navigate the river. The current was a little stronger in some areas, and it was a little challenging to paddle upstream. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would definitely do it again.

What an experience learned alot of new things on are trip Kyle is a great guide vary Knowledgeable. And vary helpful If we ever come back this way will definitely go again
