When Denali Park was closed due to the Riley Fire, we were eager to find a way to experience Denali without being able to go in the park. Thankfully amidst no power or running water in the area, New Wave was open and taking rafts out. Our guide, Kyle, was great! He offered loads of information and had lots of personal life stories that were plenty entertaining. He did all the rowing while we were merely riding. Rapids on this section of the river were only II-III, but gave a couple good splashes and excitement. We went more for sightseeing. The views from the Nenana River were beautiful and the dry suits were tested and found to be completely effective! Thanks Kyle! We had a blast on our unexpected bonus whitewater rafting adventure!

So much fun! Terra is exceptionally skilled and a wonderful tour guide! I cannot recommend going on this adventure enough!
