We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessel has indoor seating and outdoor covered seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the best wildlife viewing opportunities here in Ketchikan. Our vessel is Wheelchair accessible! Tour is usually 2 to 2.5 hours in duration Please understand we do not Guarantee Whales or offer refunds for not seeing them but we will try our best to keep our 90% sighting rate for this season going!!!

We booked this tour outside of our cruise ship and I would highly recommend supporting this family owned and operated business. Captain Jesse and Kaylee led a spectacular tour (I think Cap’t was as excited to see the whales as the guests were). They knew where to find the whales and went the extra mile to go see them, but they also were keenly aware of the times we needed to return for our departure. They have everything needed - binoculars, rain suit for everyone, blankets, coffee, hot chocolate and snacks. Pro tip: even if it’s warm, take a jacket on the boat as the wind can get cool.

Saw a bald eagle and its nest! No sight of any other animals. No whales. Clean restroom on board. Friendly operators.

Hey Vinnie, I looked at the log book and it states you stopped at Walden Rocks to view over 75 Seals and Sealions. Also you were fortunate to find a Sea Otter and an Elephant Seal. Those are extremely rare to sea in our waters around Ketchikan. It does say in the vessel log that no whales were spotted on your tour. We feel your disappointment on not seeing one. I’m sure you can understand we do and did try our best to spot one for your group. If you or anyone in your group want to go out with us in the future we would be happy to try again.
