You'll discover the stories of women like Tillie Pierce, Jennie Wade, and Elizabeth Thorn, who have statues or houses named after them, as well as women like Mary McAllister, Sallie Myers, and Philinda Humiston, who are rarely mentioned in history books but had a major impact on this tight-knit community in some of its darkest hours.
