One World Observatory

This photo tour will explore the new Freedom Tower, the 9/11 Memorial, the Oculus, and much more. You learn about both interior and exterior architectural photography, and how to best capture the buildings' grandeur and simplicity. This tour will not include entry to One World Observatory.

The Oculus

Composition is everything and this session will push you to understand lines and balance while capturing these amazing buildings. You learn how to employ strong composition to engage the viewer and give them a sense of space, how to anticipate lighting conditions, and how to deal with scene management as it relates to architecture. Learn how to take advantage of reflections and the play of light on different surfaces. You also explore the use of over exposure to help create an ethereal feel.

Zim was the friendly, professional and an outstanding tour guide for the photographic safari at the Work Trade Center. She knew about my camera, the best places and techniques to outstanding pictures of the Oculus and World Trade Center Fountain. She is also knowledgeable about the reconstruction of the World Trade Center post 911. You will not be disappointed when you take a photo tour with Zim.

I have done photo safaris with Zim before ...she is outstanding!!! Zim is very familiar with a wide range of cameras and is expert in her knowledge of photographic technique. If you go on a photo safari tour with her, she will have already been there and scouted out the best places to shoot!
