When visiting Boston, the Freedom Trail is a must-do activity, but why not see historic sites while drinking beer? Join Ye Olde Tavern Tours to see 10 sites on the Freedom Trail-including the site of the Boston Massacre and the Old State House-and grab a drink at 3 historic taverns. Beer and/or hard cider is included in the ticket price, so all you need to do is show up ready for fun.

Our guests want a unique and memorable way to learn about Boston's revolutionary (and drunken) history and for the past ten years, we have delivered. Our guides are expertly-trained historians who are also incredibly personable. Our founder, owner, and frequent tour guide has a PhD in American history and is a two-time author. We know our stuff and are passionate about sharing the most interesting stories.

We cap each tour at 12 people to provide an intimate experience. Ye Olde Tavern Tours is the most fun and social way to experience Boston!

See 10 historic sites on Boston's Freedom Trail, including the Old State House; Faneuil Hall; Old South Meeting House; the site of the Boston Massacre; and the burying ground of John Hancock, Samuel Adams, and Paul Revere. Stop at 3 historic taverns along the way to have a beer or cider in each, which is included in the ticket price, all while learning about the revoltuionary (and drunken) history of Boston.

My boyfriend is not a fan of historical tours so when I was planning our trip to Boston, I was challenged with finding an experience that he would enjoy. Ye Olde Tavern Tours provided the perfect combination of historical information and beer filled fun! We walked along the main part of the Freedom Trail and visited the top attractions with several stops at significant taverns and the opportunity to taste seasonal and local brews. Our tour guide, Brooke, was amazing! She was knowledgeable about all the sites, shared great stories and even recommended additional activities in the city. It was an intimate setting so it was very interactive and I was able to ask a lot of questions. Brooke even went above and beyond and hooked us up with a way to get into an awesome game 6 of the Red Sox playoff series!! My boyfriend has told everyone about the Tavern Tour we went on. Overall excellent experience! Thanks Brooke!

I've been on tours like this while traveling and it's always one of the highlights of the trip. Ye Olde Tavern Tours was no exception. It's the perfect way to get acquainted (or reacquainted) with Boston and its rich and fascinating history. The guide is enthusiastic and fun and you won't want the tour to end. Wear comfortable walking shoes and don't forget your camera. For visitors and residents alike, this is a "must do" in Boston.

The best part about going around with Ye Old Tavern Tours, is that you feel instantly welcomed and have a hilarious and witty guide who also actually knows her stuff. Can't go wrong with this tour, and it sure isn't your typical stuffy Boston experience. Highly recommended!
