Bus was 45 minutes late with pick-ups, needed to be refueled on the way to Yosemite, no water was provided, aircon was bad, microphone not working and tour guide not as knowledgeable as expected.
We chose a stay-over option, but were not advised by Extranomical that shuttle buses to the Cedar Lodge were not running due to fires. Fortunately, we (not Extranomical!) could get a booking at the Valley Lodge.
Generally, communication and information about the stay-over option was poor. The bus "dumps" you at the Valley Lodge and you pick up the return bus the next day.
The trip was saved somewhat by an excellent driver/guide, Alberto, for the return leg.

We are disappointed to hear that we fell short on your Yosemite tour. The July fire in Yosemite (now extinguished) put everything a bit out of sorts for a few days. Regarding your hotel, our records indicate that you booked a "transportation only" tour with us and made your own Cedar Hotel reservation. Next time, I would advise booking the entire package with us--it will save you some money and help smooth the overall experience in Yosemite.
