For our daughter’s 20 birthday, we spent the whole day at Out of Africa Wildlife Park, then, ended it with a 2 hour Predator Zipline. After getting to know our way around the park, it was super fun to spy all the animals from above. Everyone was super nice and helpful...the guides were all cheeeful and funny, with tons of stories to tell about the animals and park. We had John and Cowboy as our guides and they really made it a special day. We will definitely be back!!

We planned to be in Mesa for spring break the first week of March with our daughter and her boyfriend. She has always wanted to do a zip line and she found a groupon for Out of Africa. Before purchasing the groupon I called them to make reservations and they offered an even lower price than groupon, which was much appreciated! It was about a 2-hour drive from Mesa to Camp Verde, with fantastic scenery along the way. When we arrived we were greeted immediately and were told we could hang out in the stands to watch the animals while we waited for the others in our group to arrive. Our guides, Alex & John, were fantastic - they both had a great sense of humor and were very good at calming our nerves when needed. They were always professional but made the experience fun, pointing out all of the animals below us as well as other points of interest. Our experience started with a quick military truck ride to the first stand, where we climbed maybe 100 steps to get to the top. We then zip lined between 5 different stands, stopping long enough for everyone in our group to get from one to the next. Since you are not allowed to bring cell phones (or anything else that might fall out of your pocket), we appreciated the professional photographer, who got some really great shots. I highly recommend buying the full set of pics for $49.99 (instead of paying $5 per pic), as we got about 100 pics of our group of 4. Seth (the photographer that day) was excellent. He burned a cd for us with all the pics while we waited, then also sent us several of our favorites to email so we could post them more quickly on social media. He even called me several hours later because he wasn't sure if the pics got transferred to the cd correctly and said I should call to have him mail me a new cd if there was a problem. Love the great customer service! It was maybe 65 degrees when we were zip lining so we wore shorts, t-shirts and jackets. Listen to the advice of your guides...if they suggest a jacket, you should definitely wear one. It can be pretty chilly standing in the shade in each stand (it was pretty breezy up there) as well as when you're zipping from stand to stand. We also asked for lunch ideas when we were done and they gave us several ideas. We decided to drive another 30 min to get to Jerome, AZ to eat at the Haunted Hamburger and it did not disappoint! The food was great and it was fun to explore the old mining town. Overall this was a great zip line experience that I would highly recommend to both first time and experienced zip liners!

I cannot believe how much fun that was!! While planning a Sisters Vacation to Sedona, we purchased a Groupon deal for the Predator Zip Line as neither of us had ever gone zip lining and wanted to make the most of our vacation. When we phoned to make our reservation, Fernando was courteous while recommending that we arrive 15 minutes before the appointed time to allow for safety training and prep. We arrived 25 minutes before our appointed time, Fernando checked us in and advised on location of restroom-probably for good reason too! There was only one other couple in our group, one of whom was a former employee. Our guides, Alex and John (and Steve in an unofficial capacity!) were personable, fun, and even though the party was small, were professional the entire time while ensuring everyone had a good, and safe, experience. Not one of us (ok, just myself and my sis-the other two were not nearly as freaked out!) never felt rushed or as if we were being a pain in the a**. Another plus, both guides pointed out all the exotic animals and other points of interest at each tower. Really, Alex and John made the whole experience even more fun than just zooming 75’ over wildlife. After our tour ended, Alex, John and Fernando gave us tips on places to eat and drink (because we had to lubricate our scratchy-from-screaming vocal chords!) in Jerome plus suggested some picturesque hikes to try in the area. Thank you John, Alex and Fernando, all three of you made our day!
