On this 2.5 hour African American History tour, we will be your "conductor" and take you on a journey through Memphis that will be sure to open your eyes to some of the most historical sites connected to slavery through to the Civil Rights Movement and beyond. There is so much more to Memphis than Downtown to experience, so we will also explore some of our interesting neighborhoods.

This tour is for residents, families, and visitors who are looking for the activities to do that are safe, fun and insightful.

Ms Jackie was GREATTTTTT! She is very knowledgeable about Memphis and its rich African American history. During the tour, her passion and enthusiasm definitely came through in her commentary. Last but definitely not least, she is an extremely talented person and has a beautiful voice. Highly recommend the tour.

Miss Jackie was knowledgeable, a good shepherd of her customers, and our needs, and understandable. Her sparkling personality made the experience enjoyable, but she told us as much about herself as she did the history of the area. I had taken this tour a few years ago, and, remember the emotional experience of hearing Martin Luther King's on the Mountain speech play for us. I asked if it would be played for our group, and the tour owner told me it would be. That never happened. I think my friends missed a memorable moment. I suggest there be more history and less personal information. Thank you.
