From our vehicle you will see the balcony of the Lorraine Motel, room 306 where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968. This is also the location of the National Civil Rights Museum.

This was once the home of Jacob Burkle, a German immigrant who chose to participate in the Underground Railroad. This home was a stop on the Underground Railroad and is now a museum.

What an amazing guide and entertainer Jackie’s was. We loved her knowledge of the area as well as the entertainment. She was truly amazing and we as a group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed her. Would recommend her to anybody. Thank you Jackie 🥰

This was a wonderful way to learn the history of Memphis that isn’t always told. Ms. Jackie was full of knowledge, spirit and a beautiful singing voice. She made the ride comfortable and fun - I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Memphis!
