On this 2.5 hour African American History tour, we will be your "conductor" and take you on a journey through Memphis that will be sure to open your eyes to some of the most historical sites connected to slavery through to the Civil Rights Movement and beyond. There is so much more to Memphis than Downtown to experience, so we will also explore some of our interesting neighborhoods.

This tour is for residents, families, and visitors who are looking for the activities to do that are safe, fun and insightful.

It was wonderful! Our tour guide, Queen was warm and welcoming. Her knowledge of Memphis history was impressive and fulfilling! Taking the tour was an ideal way of starting our visit to Memphis!

We booked the tour right after arrival at the airport. The tour is a wonderful introduction to the history of Memphis and several of the key events of the Civil War and the Civil Rights Era. Our guide, Queen, is very knowledgeable and makes the tour fun and interesting with relevant anecdotes about local figures who a made a difference to the community or the world. Queen is a very warm person and great company. The musical playlist and Martin Luther King's last speech were a wonderful addition. Highly recommend this to all visitors to Memphis.
