From there, we coast onto the Tampa Riverwalk, which follows the majestic Hillsborough River to the scenic Curtis Hixon Park. Take in panoramic views of the city and the bay and return to the Embassy Suites to round out your tour.

Our tour guide was Danny. He was up beat, always smiling, and a wealth of knowledge about Tampa history, past and current. Great teacher. This was our first time on a segway and we had so much fun riding, and seeing the beauty of Tampa. We did the sunset tour so we got to see all the beautiful lighting. I would definitely do again!

Great way to see Tampa along the River. Lots of things going on and plenty to observe. Great time and tour guide was very good and knowledgable. I would recommend for friends or family to do. Great time to do around sunset.

What a difference a year makes. Last year (2019), we did the 2hr tour in St Petersburg & thought it was great. This year (2020), we had friends visiting so we thought this would be an activity for us all to do. First, the Segway machines were worn out. A few of the Segway wheels were wobbly and there were no packs available for our Segway. Second, our guide was just “ok” in telling us about the area. Third, the tour was 15 mins shorter. The guide said we ran out of time but then said it was because we were a big group (6 people - same size as last years tour). Either way, she didn’t seem to know how to manage our time during the tour & we arrived 7 mins before the end of the tour time. There was another Segway tour company that we passed during our tour & they seemed to have newer Segways & headsets so the guide could talk to them during the tour. If interested in a Segway tour of St. Petersburg, you might want to check out that other company - sorry I don’t know the name of the other company.
