The two hour walking tour was paced nicely. Our tour guide, Dennis, was very knowledgeable about the rich history of Charleston. He answered everyone’s questions and engaged with everyone.

This tour was such a great way to see and learn about Charleston. Dennis was a passionate, knowledgeable and humorous tour guide. The pace was perfect and the stops were interesting, Only regret is it didn’t last more than two hours!

I took this tour as well as the carriage tour and found this one to be notably better. Charleston is very walkable and Al, one of the several tour guides leading tours, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Al puts am emphasis on architecture - right up my alley - but also provides lots of historical information and brings you to notable places around town. The 20-person (max), 2-hour tour goes at a good pace and easy for all ages. You can also get good food recommendations after the tour ends.
