Derek was excellent (friendly, customer focused, knowledgeable) The car (Zulu) was very sluggish and extremely squeaky. Overall, overpriced compared to other off road tours we've done. If you're looking for challenging four wheeling or speed, this is not your tour company.

First, thank you for choosing Desert Wolf Tours for your off-roading adventure. We are very sorry to hear that we fell short of your expectations. We are a family-friendly operation, and our Half-Day Tomcar Adventure is geared towards enjoying the beautiful sights, while experiencing some very smooth off-roading in the military grade Tomcar, which is an experience on it's own! In regards to pricing, it is important to look at comparable adventures. We offer a 3 - 3.5 hour adventure with the absolute best guides in the industry. We feel that the standard industry 2 hour adventure just isn't enough time for you to really get out in the desert and experience it! In addition, this allows our guides to truly engage you at our stops with their in-depth knowledge of the Sonoran Desert, and get you away from the roadway. It's the Greatest Show Outdoors! On a 2 hour tour, we feel that we would short your experience by strictly driving, and experiencing what our incredible environment has to offer. Safety is our number one priority, for both the guests, and for our equipment. We are on some of the harshest terrain in the world (although it won't feel like it in a Tomcar!), with constantly varying terrain, but very little of it is smooth, graded roadway. For this reason, our vehicles are governed in order to avoid any injuries to our guests. Our guides definitely pick up the speed where they can, and slow down over the terrain where incidents could occur if a vehicle is traveling at a fast pace. In regards to your vehicle, we apologize that it seemed sluggish and that the drive belt was squeaking. We have addressed those issues, as well as swapped the belt. This "squeak" happens on all belt-driven UTVs as the belts can occasionally slip on the CVT clutch. Unfortunately, very rarely does an issue with a vehicle occur at the Roadrunner or our shop, as they are put in much more strenuous situations out on the trail. But our vehicles are very meticulously maintained, and our guides are trained in keeping them in shape on the trail. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible with our adventure's expectations, and to provide a 5-Star experience to each and every one of our guests. Again, we apologize that we fell short on your adventure. We would greatly appreciate an opportunity to speak with you and make things right. Jim and Todd were fantastic guides. My family and I had a great experience. I recently broke my foot and was in a boot. Both were very accommodating and checked in with me throughout the day to make sure all was well. It was a great time!

This was so fun! Jim and Todd were amazing and made the whole experience even better. We got to do a bunch of shooting and that was a TON of fun.
