Each and everyone of our guides was born and raised in this Canyon De Chelly area, allowing them to gain a vast knowledge of its history to share with all our guests who visit this place we call home. As well as learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites and other archeological sites, you will hear stories and tales of life in the canyon and get a chance (time permitted and seasonal option) to visit our guide's families who still weave, farm, ranch, and continue to live a traditional Navajo lifestyle in this rural part of the southwest. Canyon de Chelly National Monument

Our guided 4x4 tours into Canyon De Chelly National Monument will be lead by experienced and seasoned guides. On your trip, you will visit many archeological sites that include cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Pueblo, rock art panels (both pictograph and petroglyphs) from all past and present inhabitants of Canyon De Chelly, and other historical sites. There will also be many stops for photographic opportunities, restroom stop, and a chance to purchase artwork from local Native artists. Possible stops include visiting a working farm and/or weaving demonstration, only if resident is at their canyon home.

We found the tour interesting and the guide was very nice. With the heat and the dust, we were appreciative of being in a comfortable air-conditioned jeep. It might be a good idea to ask at the beginning what you could see during the 3 hours to make the most of your allotted time. Because a popular spot was busy at the beginning of our tour, the plan was to see it at the end but we didn't get back to it and that was disappointing. Make sure that you bring your own water because water isn't supplied with the price.

This was my second time taking a Canyon tour with Beauty Way Tours. They provide a personal experience for their guests and share their personal history in this breathtaking Canyon. Leander answered all of our questions and we truly appreciated all that he shared with us. It was more than a tour, it was a cultural experience. Thank you Leander, when I return to Canyon de Chelly, I will call on Beauty Way for another amazing experience.

We would highly recommend Beauty Way Jeep Tours. We thought we'd have to cancel, as we found our new EV likely would not make it from Gallup to Chinle and back on a single charge (and there weren't places to charge in between). The owner, Leedan (sp?), suggested he pick us up in Genado (and then drop us off after) so we'd be sure to make it back (for a very reasonable added cost). Driving and talking with him was as informative and educational as the tour (and that is saying a lot!) Lyle was our guide and he was fabulous. He had great stories and was expert in all things related to the canyon and Navajo culture and history. He was very engaging and answered all our questions. Can't recommend him or this tour company enough. Don't miss the opportunity to miss this experience.
