Each tour is lead by an experienced Navajo guide, who is certified by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Dept. and National Park Service. Each and everyone of our guides was born and raised in this Canyon De Chelly area, allowing them to gain a vast knowledge of its history to share with all our guests who visit this place we call home. As well as learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites and other archeological sites, you will hear stories and tales of life in the canyon and get a chance (time permitted and seasonal option) to visit our guide's families who still weave, farm, ranch, and continue to live a traditional Navajo lifestyle in this rural part of the southwest. Elsie was great and relayed the experience of growing up in this magical place. She pointed out all of the best spots and the history of the canyon and answered all of our questions

Beautiful scenery with an experienced guide who was as well a very good driver and a story teller. Being in a jeep without a roof would've made it more comfortable to look around since the view is high up,.. we were told it was because of the winds and sand... however we saw it was possible... to other jeeps visiting the canyon

Loved the tour. The canyon is beautiful. Leander is an excellent guide with a lot of information to offer. Glad we took the time to take this tour. Highly recommend.
