On our ghost walk, you'll travel the sea-sprayed Shore Path, where you might catch a glimpse of a ghost or even a sea serpent. You'll learn the history behind a variety of mysterious local incidents and expand your knowledge of the supernatural with accounts of the three major types of ghosts: residual manifestations, intelligent hauntings, and poltergeists. The weird tales include the strange goings-on at otherwise opulent lodgings like the Balance Rock Inn, the legendary Bar Harbor Club, and several other paranormal hotspots about town.

Doug, (Bob Ross artist lookalike) was terrific. He was very knowledgeable and funny too. Tour was the perfect amount of time and the off and on rainy weather made the Ghost walking tour even more spooky. He even asked the guests on the tour to share any ghost stories of their own. My wife had a few from her time working in a haunted hotel and the group seemed to enjoy her stories. That was awesome to ask the crowd and we appreciated that. I would definitely do this tour again when we are able to visit the town of Bar Harbor in the future. Thanks for a special night that adds to our memories of this vacation with my wife, sister and niece. We are New Englanders and my sis and niece traveled from Texas and Colorado to be with us here.

Good tour and guide - Doug. Stories were real and local. We enjoyed the tour. We had an added experience- the Northern Lights appeared about halfway through!

One of the best ghost tours I’ve been on! We could have listened to Tom tell us stories allllll night! He is extremely knowledgeable even tho he hasn’t lived here long - if it wasn’t for the accent or lack of, you’d never know. Highly recommend this activity if you have the opportunity.
