We did the morning snorkel cruise to Kealakekua Bay and we (all 11 of us including 5 kids age 3 months to 7 years old) had an amazing time! The boat was comfortable with clean bathroom (wow!). They served a delicious breakfast of muffins, eggs and fruits and grilled burgers and hot dogs for lunch. They had an underwater viewing board where we were able to put our 1 year old on so she can see the fish in the water! We really appreciated the crew's excellent customer service.

A great cruise that we have taken 3 times, for snorkeling in beautiful K. bay. The reef is fantastic, and the boat a crew a lot of fun. They also serve a nice BBQ for the hungry snorkelers. The ship has slides and dive platforms for the kids who love them. The only negative were rough waves on the return trip, but that was not the ship or crew's fault. The nicely sheltered Kealakekua bay was calm and pristine, in spite of big ways along the coast. A fun outing for all. They provide the equipment, and have a lot of flotation devices (belts, inner tubes, etc) for those who are not good swimmers.

What a fun afternoon on the water. I love to snorkel, my wife not so much, but we both thoroughly enjoyed this trip; Fair Winds personnel are so very accommodating. The boat handled rollers very well, to point were the rollers were hardly noticed. Our destination was Kealakekua Bay which is very protected & calm, ideal for snorkeling. The boat was escorted into & out of the bay by a pod of 8 or 10 spinner dolphin diving in & out of our bow wave & we saw several whales along the way. The snorkeling was great; lots of fish of every shape & color in the rainbow, beautiful coral formations. Snacks along the way were good, plentiful & healthy along with lots of water & fruit juices. And the crew couldn't have been more kind, helpful or accommodating. Nice, nice day.
