Robert was great, gave lots of fun facts. We had a very enjoyable day. Good amount of time at each stop, we felt like we saw a lot.

Our tour guide did a fantastic job. He was knowledgeable and funny. The van was very comfortable. He stopped at a few places for photo ops: Golden Gate Bridge and Palace of Fine Arts. Muir Woods was a great place to hike and see redwoods. It was an enjoyable 1.5 hour hike that we did on our own. We went to Sausalito for lunch. It is a cute town. We chose a pizza place right on the water. At Alcatraz, the only thing open was the audio tour of the prison. You will need your cell phone for this. Actual prisoners made the audio and told their story. It was very interesting. The other areas of the island were closed off. I suppose for renovation.

Going to Muir Woods because my last name is Muir. Tour guide had some fun with my last name which made it more personalized and that much better of a trip. ALcatraz was amazing.
