Overview

This small-group tour will take you across the Golden Gate Bridge and allow you to walk among the oldest redwoods of the famous Muir Woods National Monument Park. You will venture to Sausalito to admire the beautiful seaside Mediterranean style city, and discover some of the most beautiful house boats in the world, where a hippie community took residence in the 70's.

Your transportation will be in a luxury brand new 2021 Mercedes Sprinter van with only 14 passengers. Throughout your tour, engage in conversation with your tour guide as you learn about his experience as a San Francisco local.

After your visit to Muir Woods and Sausalito (in English), take a ferry from Pier 33 to Alcatraz Island where you will have an extraordinary experience INSIDE the most famous prison. Enjoy the award-winning Cellhouse audio tour and some free time to explore the island on your own.

Golden Gate Bridge

We will cross the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge while you admire the 360 degree scenic view.

Vista Point

We will stop for a few minutes for an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and San Francisco Skyline

Muir Woods National Monument

Walk quietly at your own pace on a easy path surrounded by 1000 year-old Redwoods.

Sausalito Boardwalk

You will explore Sausalito, have lunch, discover art galleries or get some souvenirs.

Alcatraz Island

You’ll board the ferry to Alcatraz at Pier 33 on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Headsets are provided to listen to the award-winning audio tour, “Doing Time,” where you will learn about notorious criminals like Al Capone who were incarcerated here. Hear about escape attempts from 'The Rock,' and listen to commentary from former inmates and staff. This is the drop off. No transportation after Alcatraz because you will be able to stay as long as you want on the Island until the last ferry back.

The Alcatraz/Muir Woods/Sausalito tour was an exceptional San Francisco experience. The tour operator communicated well about tour itinerary and location pickup/drop offs beforehand. Dustin was our driver to Marin County and he took time to stop for quick pictures at the Legion of Honor and the Golden Gate Bridge along the way. Muir Woods is simply stunning and Sausalito is a quaint bayside community with a bustling Main Street for shopping/dining. Alcatraz is a great family experience and the ferry is 15-20 min ride. Great customer service all around and well worth the price. It’s a full day experience and they take care of you all the way!

This tour with "Must See" is a must see. It was really worth. Tour guide Robert was excellent! Very knowledgeable, caring, patient with great sense of humor. The best spots in and around San Francisco are covered and you can never be bored. Wr were a small group and quickly became friends. Amazing tour and great company! Highly recommended! 😃

Our tour guide Robert was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. His humor and time management was excellent as well. Also enjoyed every program here! Muirwoods was the truly a healing experience and Sausalito had good restaurants !
