I booked a tour a week ago, and over the weekend I got an email from the company saying that they were no longer guaranteeing whale sightings. I called the company, and asked for a refund - and they said they would honor 75% of the refund. I told them I had chosen their company, over others because they had a guarantee - which for a large party is a considerable amount of money to spend on a "possible" whale sighting. The woman on the phone said "it's strange times, so we're trying to do the best we can". Yes, it is strange times indeed when a company offers a guarantee, you pay the money, then comes back and says we won't guarantee anything, and will not give you a refund. Companies during this time should be more understanding and reasonable with their customers if they hope to have them return instead of trying to squeeze money out of them.

Our tours have seen whales every day that we've gone out this week which is what we shared with you over the phone when we confirmed our long-standing cancellation policy.
The tour you chose not to go on saw several pods interacting together for the full 3 hours.
We're sorry you chose to cancel and miss out. It was a great day on the water! Covid is an unprecedented occurrence and we are trying to meet it with flexibility and grace. We ask the same of our guests.
