What a fabulous, albeit exhausting day! We were picked up at the Tour office in Flagstaff and were taken in a large van, first to Horseshoe Bend and then to Antelope Canyon. On the way, our guide Jason provided narrative about the land, early settlers, the tribal history of the area and how the area evolved geologically. He was SO knowledgeable, but not in a know-it-all way. During the tour we stopped at a Navajo trading post where we bought unique handmade Navajo souvenirs and we also had lunch at Lake Powell - beautiful. Antelope Slot Canyon had been closed the day before our tour due to flash floods, so there were a lot more people at the canyon than expected (who had tickets from the day before). Once we got to the slot canyon, Jason turned us over to a Navajo guide who taught us so much about the Navajo tribe and the area while walking us through the canyon. The drive from Flagstaff to the Slot Canyon was quite long (about 2 hrs?) but well worth the trip. Warning - there is a lot of walking involved and if we had gone in June, July or August we would not have been able to complete the tour due to the intense heat. Luckily, the weather was absolutely fantastic in late September, 2022.

Great tour, so glad we took it. We’d recommend it to everyone. Tony was a great guide, we had a lot of personalized recommendations from him for our trip. The views were amazing and we were able to leave with some wonderful pictures to cherish forever.

Scott was the Tour Guide and he was very informative. He was a good and safe driver and filled us in on so much information along the drive. He also told us what to expect at each stop so we were able to get the most out of the stop. Great tour....I used Flagstaff as a base for 6 nights and I LOVED Antelope Canyon better than anything else I saw, including the Grand Canyon.
