This was an awe-inspiring experience! Our guide, Stefan, was so friendly and knowledgeable, and he did a wonderful job of letting us know exactly what to expect throughout our 6.5 hour journey. There were many nice touches to make sure that we were comfortable: a sound system with a microphone so everyone in the van could hear, warm parkas, gloves, and snow pants to protect us from the cold winds on the summit, a delicious vegetarian sandwich for dinner, and hot chocolate during our stargazing. The picture Stefan took of us with Milky Way in the background is one that we will always treasure. Thank you so much!

Our tour guide Wes and driver/photographer Aoki we're incredible. Not only did we learn a ton about Mauna Kea but we got some incredible photos of us during the sunset and against the Milky Way. They made sure we were well taken care of - I was feeling very light headed and they made sure I got oxygen and checked in on me regularly. A perfect way to experience a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend.
