This night tour has you on quiet inland waters just north of the Kennedy Space Center where you experience one of nature's rare phenomena. These tiny organism glow when disturbed, so you'll first notice that the water under your paddles is glowing. Up around the bend you'll undoubtedly run across a school of fish swimming past your boat and sometimes jumping, and these fish trails are glowing too as they disturb the waters. You'll probably also run across other wildlife such as dolphin or manatees.
The guides bring a trailer full of kayaks, and set them up on the beach. You'll also get a vest with a small light and whistle for safety plus, of course, a paddle. The guides are funny, safety conscious, and knowledgeable. The pace is very casual.
You might try to find a moonless night for this. We were there near the end of August and were told that we were there at the end of the season, so make sure to get there at the right time of year.
