I was so looking forward to this tour. I knew it would be a long day and brief at certain points but I was still left dissatisfied. Our guide Peter was not great. He’s an older man with a hearing aid so he would ask as question and then when you replied he wouldn’t hear you so you had to shout. This was for the duration of 14 hours which was tiresome. Then he would repeatedly ask where you are staying but then forgot so asked again. Why ask if you are not going to remember? Peter spoke about everything that was not important and little commentary on the actual Freedom trail or at Harvard. In fact the Spanish guide actually told me more about Harvard than Peter did. Boston is a wonderful and beautiful city and I guess for a trip for one day it’s the best way to see highlights but I wish I could have seen more. Tips….Learn all about the Freedom trail before you go so you know what you are seeing or should be looking at. The stop at the Tea party wharf is just a stop. No interaction or explanation happens. Take snacks. We didn’t stop at Quincy market till after 2.30 for lunch and I was Hangry by then 😂

Nice sights to see but the tour guides weren’t very informative and they were in a extreme rush to get back. Barely had enough time to use the restroom and get food at the stops. They kept nagging us when we wanted to get a picture or two. The only good part was that the driver was experienced and i felt safe for the duration of the ride. I would recommend reading about the sites before hand and just going without this tour.. better to spend the money on a train to get there or private transport.

My favorite part about the Boston freedom trail day trip was visiting Cambridge . The trip was long however we were provided 20 minutes break after two hours driving to get food or stretch out limbs. Be aware the trip is waking tour so wear comfortable clothing or shoes. the tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about American history. Therefore, i totally recommend going on this trip!!
