Our scheduled tour guide called in sick last minute, so Liam hopped in to save the day. He escorted us throughout Little Italy and the Northend with lots of interesting and historic sites pointed out. He also walked us through six different food experiences, including: clam chowder, roasted nuts, pastrami, an Italian sandwich, a slice of pizza, lobster ravioli, and cannoli.
Overall, the food was a good sampling of classic and interesting, though some items were more appealing than others. We stayed in the shade (it was July and hot) most of the time, which was very helpful. The tour was supposed to end at 2pm, but went over, which caused some stress because we had another tour to get to at 3pm and had to travel a bit to get there. Better adherence to the timeframe (or at least asking if anyone had a hard stop) would be a good idea in the future.
All in all, we had a great time and would recommend it as a nice, guided way to explore part of Boston with some food along the way.
